Street Fighter 6 Mega Bundle 1 and Street Fighter Mega Bundle 2

Overwatch 2 x Street Fighter Mega Bundles with crossover skins and pricing.
The pricing for the bundles is pretty steep, though the mega bundles are cheaper than the ultra bundle / Image credit: Blizzard Entertainment

These two mega bundles split the character cosmetics in half, with Dhalsim Zenyatta, Chun-Li Juno, Ryu Hanzo and M. Bison Sigma in bundle 1 and Blanka Winston, Juri Kiriko, Cammy Widowmaker and Guile Soldier: 76 in bundle 2. Each bundle includes all the cosmetics in the individual bundles for the four heroes.

Both mega bundles cost 5,900 Overwatch Coins. The closest coin bundle to this amount is the 6,000 coin bundle, which includes an additional 500 coins. This will cost around $60.

Street Fighter 6 Ultra Bundle

Players that have a spare $100, and who are particularly interested in these cosmetics can get everything in the ultra bundle / Image credit: Blizzard Entertainment

The ultra bundle features all of the cosmetics for the Overwatch 2 x Street Fighter crossover event. Because of this, it is the most expensive bundle, costing 9,900 Overwatch coins. The 10,000 Overwatch coin bundle, with an additional 1,800 bonus coins, costs around $100. Players who want everything for all the heroes are going to have to thoroughly empty their wallets to do so.

Are the Overwatch 2 x Street Fighter bundles worth it?

These bundles are great for fans of Street Fighter, but it’s incredibly difficult to justify the prices, especially the price of the ultra bundle / Image credit: Blizzard Entertainment

Whether the Overwatch 2 x Street Fighter bundles are worth it is a matter of opinion. However, even those who are big fans of the Overwatch 2 cosmetics and Street Fighter are sure to have a hard time justifying that $100 price tag for the ultra bundle. The individual bundles are still pricey, but more understandable. The mega bundles are also pretty steep, but the ultra bundle is a whole other level of expensive.

That being said, there is no denying that the skins are mostly well-made. Some players have taken issue with Soldier: 76’s Guile skin, as the outfit he wears is very similar to his default skin. For the cost, players should really be getting more than a glorified recolour. However, the other skins are creative and well-designed. The rest of the cosmetics are also pretty good, especially the highlight intros, which include a voice announcer to reflect the announcers from Street Fighter.

One problem that the bundles have is that the characters do not have an equal number of items. For example, Juno has nine items in her Chun-Li bundle, while Sigma only has five items in his M. Bison bundle, with two of his cosmetics being voice lines. There is clearly some favouritism going on when it comes to which characters get more cosmetics.

Sigma’s M.Bison bundle is the only one that is slightly cheaper, but he isn’t the only hero that doesn’t have as many cosmetics as some of the other characters. Winston also only has five cosmetics in his Blanka bundle, but it is the same price as the other individual bundles. While it is good to see characters like Winston and Sigma being included in a crossover, they aren’t receiving the same attention as others.

So, are any of these bundles worth the cost? Well, if you are particularly invested in Overwatch 2 cosmetics and the Street Fighter games, then it might be worth purchasing one of these bundles. However, it simply isn’t worth $100 for the ultra bundle, even though you will receive all the cosmetics created for the crossover.

The only way this price would be worth it is if you have the finances to afford it, and you know that you will use these cosmetics frequently. Otherwise, opt for one of the smaller, cheaper bundles for a hero you use more often than the others.
