Children of the Discordance to Stage a Runway Show at Pitti Uomo 108
Global menswear designers, buyers, journalists, and aficionados are gearing up to gather at Florence’s Fortezza da Basso for the 108th edition of Pitti Uomo, a massive biannual men’s fashion fair for international brands to stage their newest ideas, trend forecasts, and collaborative projects.From June 17 to 20, the event will showcase the Spring/Summer 2026 collections of over 730 brands in a winding exhibition-like trade show, and it will host a series of runway presentations from several designers. Those will include the guest of honor Homme Plissé Issey Miyake, guest designers PAF (Post Archive Faction) and Niccolò Pasqualetti, and now, Children of the Discordance.In collaboration with the Japan Fashion Week Organization, Pitti Uomo has brought on the Hideaki Shikama-led brand to host a "Special Event" during the trade fair, which will include a runway show, on June 17. "The clothes that I make are committed to being unique, and I will continue to explore this on a daily basis.”Francesca Tacconi, special events coordinator at Pitti Immagine, added, "Children of the Discordance is one of the brands we’ve been following most closely for several seasons ever since its debut at Pitti Uomo a few years ago, introduced through the Tokyo Fashion Award.
