Composite deck deteriorating, opinions on surface rehab
I recently purchased a house that has a composite appearing deck under a tree; it is of unknown age and provenance. The surface is highly pockmarked, and it appears that one of the previous owners tried to use paint on it. old deck Since the money gun was fired repeatedly already at things like new floors, a new roof and new gutters, funds aren't there to replace the deck this year. I am looking for your opinions on how I might rehab this deck for safe use for a couple of years while the bank builds back up. Power wash and some sort of deck paint?
