Concrete patio border idea

I am in the process of planning and building a small patio area in my back yard. The area was once a playscape so already flat and just dirt. I’ve removed the mulch and landscape fabric that was preexisting. My question is regarding the border. Does the hive mind think I can make it out of concrete? If I cut sonotube to 6’ lengths, pour the concrete and wait to cure, then gently laid the down, could I use them to surround the patio area? Or am I asking for a cracked concrete mess in a couple of years? Obviously I would remove the sauna tube surrounding from the concrete once it was cured and laid down.
