The new record was set shortly after he and PARTYNEXTDOOR dropped off their highly-anticipated joint album $ome $exy $ongs 4 U, which earned more than 56.6 million streams on its first day. The collaborative effort became the second-highest streaming debut of 2025 so far just behind The Weeknd's Hurry Up Tomorrow.The latest album also opened at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, earning 246,000 equivalent album units in its first week.
