Even with Netflix’s recommendation algorithm serving you new movies, new TV shows, and original programming tailored to your viewing habits, the streaming service’s fire hose of content makes what’s coming difficult to parse. We’re here to help.
This month, we get Meghan Markle’s show, along with a John Mulaney live event. It’s celebrities all the way down! There’s also a new Netflix animated show about a werewolf prince which looks super cool, more episodes of Sakamoto Days, and a new SpongeBob Squarepants movie all about Plankton. From the back catalogue, we have the 2005 Pride & Prejudice, Ma starring Octavia Spencer, and Den of Thieves 2: Pantera.
Editor’s Pick: Pride & Prejudice

Director: Joe Wright
Cast: Keira Knightley, Matthew Macfadyen, Rosamund Pike, Donald Sutherland
Period drama queen Keira Knightley stars as Elizabeth Bennett, with Matthew Macfayden as Mr. Darcy in the 2005 version of Jane Austen’s Pride & Prejudice. It’s a gorgeous adaptation that also plays up the class difference between the two leads (and interjects some more dramatic moments than the more subdued scenes in Austen’s original work, but that’s cinema, babyyyy). Besides, is there a scene in modern film that does yearning like Darcy’s hand flex?
