Failing cap on copper pipe
I don't have a picture available, but I have a copper pipe, water line, hung below my joists. There's an additional line that runs to an old furnace as a humidifier line. The cap seems to have failed and the valve that is a little butterfly twist also seems to have failed. Furnace is from 1961 (working on getting it replaced). But the water line is leaking into my workshop. Can I recap it? If so, how? What's the proper fitting? I work as a handyman, but I'm not a plumber. submitted by /u/Novelty1776 [link] [comments]
