freestanding dishwasher - can it sit on a base?
hey. I've cleared out a cabinet to install a freestanding dishwasher, and drilled holes in the neighboring cabinets to connect it to the water supply/drain/AC. here's how it looks. the dishwasher works. as can been seen in the image, the dishwasher isn't quite the right size (noticeably too short and slightly too thin) so I would like to have it sit taller on a wooden base so it is flush with the top of the cabinet rather the bottom, and also "cage" it on both sides so it is centered. is there any problem with doing this, assuming the base is level? I assume I also want some amount of clearance from the kitchen worktop? submitted by /u/KappaKilledNuckleDu [link] [comments]
