Poetic Shapes Define Spring Trends in Women's Style
Soft silhouettes and moody hues feel unexpectedly romantic in Japan.

There are many ways to dress boldly in fashion. Many start with wearing bright, saturated colors, especially in the warmer months. For a more advanced take, playing with proportions and shapes offers the chance to elevate style a big step further.
That is exactly the theme of L'OFFICIEL's latest editorial, which was shot in Japan, and centers around a story of sartorial shape-shifting. A model, for example, wears a dress by Jun Takahashi's Undercover that has a trumpet hemline, ruched bodice, and flared out upper. In another image, she wears a mod-reminiscent dress by Celine, which boasts a shorter cut and looser silhouette. Across this series, it's clear that toying with shapes can poetically shift one's fashion aesthetic. Keep scrolling for inspiration through seeing all the looks.
