Gap and Dôen Launch a Second Summer-Ready Collection

For the second time, Gap welcomes women-owned Californian brand Dôen to create a summer-ready collection, emphasizing Gap’s classic Americana roots with Dôen’s vintage-inspired coastal dressing. Launching globally on May 2, this collection also brings alongside a major milestone for Dôen: menswear.  

The new 38-piece Gap × Dôen collection builds on the hallmarks of last year’s drop, channeling west coast breezieness with a new lineup of soft florals, coastal-ready ginghams, reimagined denim staples, and lightweight matching sets. 

"Our first collection with Dôen set a new bar for how a collaboration can infuse a fresh perspective into Gap essentials," President and CEO of Gap Mark Breitbard said in a statement. “Reuniting with Dôen has allowed us to build on that momentum with a new summer-ready collection.”

Beyond aesthetics, the Gap × Dôen collection underscores a commitment to gender equity in the fashion industry, per a brand statement. The collection was produced in international factories participating in Gap’s Rise (Reimagining Industry to Support Equality) program, designed to advance opportunities for women in the garment sector.

Prices for the collection range from $34 to $158, with options available across women’s, men’s, and toddler items, too. Gap cardmembers will have early access to shop the collection on May 1, before it officially launches online and at select Gap stores on May 2.
