Get Ready for Elana Fighting Pass brings rewards and concerns to Street Fighter 6

Capcom has launched the Get Ready for Elana Fighting Pass to get the FGC hype ahead of Elana’s June 5th release.

Elana is the next DLC character coming to Street Fighter 6, and competitive players are predicting she will shake up the current meta with her healing capabilities and balanced move set. To celebrate the highly anticipated fighter coming to the roster, the FGC now has new cosmetics to unlock in her honour.

Capcom revealed the Get Ready for Elana Fighting Pass with a trailer that highlights Street Fighter 3 as a whole. While you can get Elana-related awards, there’s also cosmetics for player avatars inspired by Yang, Yun, Remy, Q and Oro.

This immediately sent alarm bells through the Street Fighter 6 scene, with many wondering if this meant that those characters would never arrive as DLC since arriving as cosmetics instead can oftentimes mean no full release. However, Urien had a Gill costume in Street Fighter 5 and Gill was still announced as a DLC fighter so there’s still hope.

The Get Ready for Elana Fighting Pass includes both free rewards as well as a premium track that can be purchased for even more cosmetics. The premium version costs 250 Fighter Coin, which is about $5 USD, but completing all the levels will earn those Coins back.

The Elana pass will be available to grind until June 1st. Then, Elana will arrive on June 5th along with the rest of Season 3. She is expected to be a formidable entry to the roster, with answers to almost anything competitors throw her way and hard-hitting combos thanks to her new stances.
