Help? I want to frame in an office into the corner of a metal clad and concrete floor pole barn on the property I bought. Are there any special considerations?
I'm not very experienced in framing, but I've built tiny homes with friends and added walls to divide rooms at an art collective. I assume I need to add a moisture barrier so framing isn't right against metal that might sweat. Is there a way to do that best? I'm guessing I can just concrete anchor my new plates down and tie into the member spanning between uprights in the barn. I'm seeing a slight amount of vegetation wanting to perk into the barn, under the sheet metal, before the concrete pad. Are there any considerations I need to make for that? I basically just want to have an insulated, dust free work space for things like 3D printers near my other tools and our of the house Any resources welcome! The Internet search I did kept trying to teach me things like framing a pole barn entirely or other framing methods without nuance submitted by /u/rivertpostie [link] [comments]
