How to tackle this wood rot on porch columns
My plan was to go in and cut each board at the level level of good wood and then use pocket screws to replace the rotten two by fours with pressure treated lumber and then put hardy plank on the outside. Any thoughts as to how important bracing would be if I only do one column at a time there is only a roof above and the columns are spaced fairly close together submitted by /u/glasshaustrum [link] [comments]
