Monster Hunter Wilds allows you to customize the appearance of your hunter pretty freely, but you can also rely on the creativity of other members of the community. You'll have to select the design of your hunter at the start of a new journey. You can make plenty of tweaks to how they appear in-game, but you can also rely on other player's creations. How to use character design codes in Monster Hunter Wilds Whenever you create a character, it will be assigned a code. You can upload this code to allow other players to use it for their own hunters. Similarly, you can use the code shared by another person to use it inside the game. Saving an appearance is pretty easy, and you can do so from the rightmost tab in the character creation screen. However, you can do this only after you have completed the creation process, and you should also be connected to the internet. After you have completed your creation, you can Save/Load your previously saved designs (or save the one that you just created). If you want to share the design with other players, open the sub-menu. Select Upload Design. You'll get a 12-digit code. Note it down to share with your friends. The process of using codes from another player is pretty much the same. Select the Download Design option available just under the Save/Load option. You'll have to insert the code, and once confirmed, your hunter will copy the design just applied. You'll first have to note down the slider values of the original character. Then, you have to manually enter those values to make your hunter look like the design you're after. The only benefit of this method is that you don't have to wait for the character design to be complete. That said, if you're going for a complete hunter design, it's better to do so using codes. If you want to make the change on an existing character, you'll need a Character Edit Voucher to do so.
