ideas on how to remove dirt in contact with bottom of shed?

My shed has too much dirt underneath it - too much as in the plywood floor of the shed is in contact with the dirt, and thus gets wet. What's the easiest way to create an air gap between the floor and the dirt? I don't have good access from front or back of shed (the long sides of the shed), but from the side, I guess I could dig a hole that is the width of the side of shed and try to push a garden rake under the shed, but that seems like a lot of work. I have a large air compressor, but other than blasting away dirt that is really close to the edge of the shed, having trouble visualizing how I could use that to clear dirt closer to the center of the shed. Maybe attach some kind of small diameter pipe to the end of a blow gun? I have both standard and high flow blow guns. Any ideas? submitted by /u/dgv54 [link] [comments]
