Looking to find a kind of drywall clip/anchor…
So I mounted an outlet cover and used the older mount behind. It didn’t have drywall directly behind. But had it on both sides, about 1.5 inches off center. Where was a nice wide rotating metal clip that spanned across the hole and grab the drywall from behind as I screwed it down. Almost like a toggle bold drywall anchor but didn’t spring, and was quite wide. Perfect for my application. Problem is…I can’t find these!
