Options for finishing cathedral ceiling
We have a 3 season room with an unfinished cathedral ceiling. I love that it’s unfinished in terms of the look and the airiness factor, but as we are putting in a wood floor, I hoped the ceiling could be white. It can’t really be painted because there are nails throughout from the roof. Are there any options to finish the ceiling but also maintain the look of the rafters (not close them in, trying to preserve that airy feeling I love). My husband was thinking he could put wainscoting in between the rafters, but they’d have to be suspended on something a bit longer than the nails…. submitted by /u/PSunshine6 [link] [comments]
