Pergola support over stamped concrete
Hi everyone. I have a stamped concrete patio and I’d like to build a pergola over it. Looking at three options to attach it. Hoping anyone with experience could provide some guidance! Is it safe to dig a hole for the footer close to the edge of the concrete? If so how close can I get to the concrete without jeopardizing the ground underneath it? Would stamped concrete be strong enough to support if I drilled directly into it? I have seen options for “earth” or “ground” anchors.
