Rafter/collar tie question
Building a kids playhouse. 6 foot by 8 foot. 5 foot high walls. Gable roof. Considering how small this is, is just doing collar ties fine or are rafter ties necessary too? I understand the difference in the two but seems like with roof being so small and the two almost touching if did both, that the collar ties are kind of doing the work of both.
