Suitable Trailer frame for teardrop camper build
Hey good peeps of Reddit! I'm looking to build my own teardrop camper and I am curious as to what other people may have done for the towing frame. I've come across a couple online that are specifically designed for that and cost around $2500 USD. I'm hoping j could get away with a trailer maybe from home Depot that supports around 1000lbs but would like to know what you guys think. I'm gonna be framing it mostly with 2x2 and sheathing with 3/8 ply 1/2 inch if necessary, probably do subfloor with 1/2 plus as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
