Sunshade added to Deck
Wife and I were debating what to buy to get some more shade on our deck, after seeing the price of large cantilever umbrellas i did some research and decided to install posts onto the deck to support a sun shade. All in cost was around $300 and has been great so far. Still tinkering with the shade to maybe get it a little tighter and possibly buy a waterproof one. I couldn’t find anything exactly like this on reddit so wanted to share. 4 4x4 posts, 9’ 4” tall posts, post caps, 45 degree interior supports, 2 0.5in through bolts per post.
