When Slam Jam designer Giovanni Nordio shared an image of a chainmail Umbro jersey on Instagram over the summer, the statement-making football kit quickly became a mainstay on stylephiles' explore pages. The knightly take on the quintessential athletic top, finished with Umbro's signature double diamond logo in the center of the chest, boasts a heavy metal composition that one could only compare to armour. Thick all-black windbreakers and formal quarter-zip jackets nod to the football arena's watchmen, while kaleidoscopic jackets, polos, jerseys, and hats are fitted for the sport's devotees. Meanwhile, "Only Football" hoodies and "Hard Time" T-shirts round out the eclectic ready-to-wear lineup.The first drop from Umbro's Spring/Summer 2025 collection will launch on March 4 on Slam Jam and Umbro's webstores, as well as in select retailers.
