wanted to add monitor holder but desk overhang not deep enough so
wanted to add a larger bigger monitor to my desk at my office as I am using electronic medical records software more and more and my old eyes dont like the 14" monitor on laptop .. the desk I got when opened office has a scalloped tup that doesn't have a deep enough ledge to allow the c clamp to grip on. I was trying not to drill into top of desk or to wall .. the first one I ordered didnt work and when I tried to return ( was gonna just screw into wall ) they said keep it and refunded me .. so now I had to make it work lol.. so I spent some time between patients measuring and drawing .. then cut built and test fitted then stained and screw into underneath of the desk top and what do you know it worked , now just waiting for monitor to arrive Tuesday ! not a carpenter by trade but rather impressed wiht myself from thought to creation in few hours my initial drawings test fit orig not fitting because too shallow stained and screwed in from bottom awaiting monitor to attach Monday or Tuesday submitted by /u/docnsx01 [link] [comments]
