What is the optimal venting option for a wall-mounted range hood (200–650 CFM, 1–6 Sones) to ensure best performance and minimal noise?
1) Horizontal vent directly from the blower into an 3¼" x 10" rectangular wall vent. (I already have this vent on the wall for Mirowave vent) 2) Horizontal vent directly from the blower into an 8" round wall vent. 3) Vertical venting through an 8" round duct that turns 90 degrees to exit through the back wall, located few inches below 8' ceiling. submitted by /u/ThroughTheNature [link] [comments]
