What time does the Fortnite Reload Squid Game event start?

Squid Game is coming to Fortnite Reload on Friday, June 27, with a themed map based off of the show.

Releasing on the same day of the hit TV show’s third season, the Fortnite Reload Squid Game event will have you and your squadmates reboot into familiar locations that you might’ve seen from the show. As the Squid Game collaboration is a Fortnite Reload event, you won’t see any themed locations in the regular Battle Royale or Zero Build modes, but you can get your hands on some Squid Game outfits in the item shop.

Here’s when the Fortnite Reload Squid Game event is releasing, and what we know about the event ahead of its launch.

What time does the Fortnite Reload Squid Game event release in your time zone?

The Fortnite Reload Squid Game event releases at 7 a.m. EDT on Friday, June 27. Here’s when the event will start in your time zone:

• 4 a.m. PDT for the west coast of North America
• 7 a.m. EDT for the east coast of North America
• 8 a.m. BRT for Brazil
• 12 p.m. BST for the U.K.
• 1 p.m. CEST for western Europe/Paris
• 8 p.m. JST for Japan
• 9 p.m. AEST for the east coast of Australia

What to expect from the Fortnite Reload Squid Game event

Fortnite Reload ‘s Squid Game event is bringing a lot of changes to the game mode. For a list of changes, check out the sections below.

Squid Grounds map

As part of the event, Reload’s map will be taken over by the Squid Grounds, a Squid Game-themed map featuring sets and games from the show. The Squid Grounds will take over as the only map for Reload during the launch weekend until 7 a.m. on Monday, June 30. From then on, it will take over Oasis in the map rotation.

New loot pool

With a new map comes new items! Three new items are being added to the Reload loot pool:

• Red-eye Submachine Gun
• Uncommon Boogie Bomb
• Itemized Glider Redeploy

Squid Game Skins

There are two Squid Game bundles releasing in the item shop at 8 p.m. EDT on Thursday, June 26.

The Squid Bundle will include four skins that you might recognize from the show:

• Games Manager outfit
• Ddakji Defender outfit
• Glass Bridge Survivor outfit
• Games Guard outfit

Along with eight more skins featuring classic Fortnite characters in the iconic Squid Game track suit:

• Green Light Guardian
• Marble Maven
• Dalgona Destroyer
• Tug of War Titan
• Pentathlon Perfector
• Jegi Juggler
• Flying Stone Fighter
• Gong-gi Great

The second bundle features four Squid Game accessories:

• Squid Shapes Wrap
