Where can I find cement board panel siding with a smooth texture?
Does anyone know of a place to get cement board siding that has a smooth surface texture? My house has 2'x1' panel siding with a smooth texture, some pieces are broken and I anticipate I'll likely crack a few others in an upcoming project. The siding that is there has a smooth surface, but everything I find has either a striated or faux-wood texture that will stick out like a sore thumb. I have checked Menards, Home Depot, Ebay, Lowes, Hamilton Builders, Insulation4US, and a few other things that came up in a search result, but to no avail. If it's really the case that no one makes it, I guess I can swap some textured pieces into places that no on will see and hope I can transfer the old ones without breaking them. submitted by /u/WhimsyWhistler [link] [comments]
