After 30+ years we are tearing down the Florida room my Dad (RIP), brother(RIP), and I built. We Always joked that he built everything "Hurricane Proof", and now I am seeing again for the first time.
My dad passed away 13+ years ago and always built things "Hurricane Proof" as a sort of joke. But the handyman removing the Florida room (Don't Worry the brick and floor are staying), is struggling. Was it overkill? Windows and ceiling bead and cove removed. The Corner was legendary The leak... Hand nailed finish nails. I think I had to do the recess tool to nail them under the surface. https://preview.redd.it/jn7hu7i9c81f1.jpg?width=1848&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5dc896a6323a2f9c7f1c63f38a8c14f7d72b1d64 submitted by /u/kuhnto [link] [comments]
