You cannot evolve Legendary or lower Units. Maybe things will change in the future, but for now, only Mythic Units get to be more powerful. To evolve a Unit, you need to have a few rare items and enough gold to pay for the evolution. The items in question can be bought, or they need to be crafted from the Craft Vendor (Majin Boo). Each unit has different items it needs in order to evolve, but many of them also need the same items, such as the Key. When a Unit evolves, it gains a new ability and improves existing ones while becoming more powerful in the process. An Evolved unit also has each of its stats increase by 1 (not from B to A, but rather, from B to B+, or B+ to A-). How to Evolve a Unit in Anime Saga
Let's get one thing out of the way first: you can only evolve Mythic Units. You cannot evolve Legendary or lower Units. Maybe things will change in the future, but for now, only Mythic Units get to be more powerful.
