Any ideas how to floor this section?
To those that have removed their fireplace hearths previously and then laid flooring in place of them.. how did you do it? What was used to prime or level the floor? I’m fairly good at DiY but haven’t any experience with flooring or dealing with this type of thing? We currently have tongue and groove laminate I think as seen in the photo and we do have spare boards to use, so looking to ready those boards to be put down really.
