Possible wood showing through shower tile?

https://imgur.com/a/I2plyYQ Hi Reddit, I noticed some wood showing near the drain in my tiled shower. Im not sure if this is KERDI. I picked up some silicone to fill the spot but once I got down there I noticed there’s multiple spots like this. Do I need to rip the entire tiled shower floor out or can I get it regrouted? The house is 6 years old and we’ve always been tedious of using a squeegy to clean the water after showers. Once every month or two, I did what the tile guy told me to do to clean the tiles: Spray a mix of equal parts vinegar and water on the tiles and let sit for 5-7mins and lightly go over it with a tile brush and rinse it. Not sure if this has anything to do with it or if this is just normal wear and tear. There are big sections of the shower where there’s no signs of this and I clean the entire base the same way so not sure if my cleaning practices are correlated to this issue in any way. Any advice here would be greatly appreciated! Thank you! submitted by /u/LifesOptimist [link] [comments]
