Are rafter vents necessary without an air intake?
We’re building a shed/office/guesthouse and are finishing the hired stick build ourselves. Soffit vents are installed in the gables (10’ high point of cathedral ceiling) but there is no gable or venting at the bottom (8’ on the low side). Should we attach plastic rafter vents before adding insulation? Have we goofed by not requiring intake vents on the low side of the roof? Thanks, all! submitted by /u/chiefgoodboi [link] [comments]
