Are these studs doing anything?
I noticed that neither the jack studs nor king stud for my garage door header are attached to the sill plate. Can’t really see it in the picture but I can barely see a bolt under one of the studs, assuming it’s the same as the one to the right of the king stud. I’m guessing it’s always been like this (built in early 2000s) but I really have no idea. Should I, or even can I, fix this? submitted by /u/GooseOfSecondCompany [link] [comments]
