ASICS and A.P.C.'s Tennis Collection Is a Smash
Ahead of the European Tennis Tour, ASICS and A.P.C. have joined forces to create a tennis collection of both on-court and off-court fits.The 20-piece on-court range marries ASICS' performance tech with A.P.C.'s elevated aesthetic through a series of activewear silhouettes, including, most notably, crew tops, sleeveless shirts, and short-shorts with pastel ombre effects. Much of the game-ready line incorporates "Kasane," the Japanese art of layering, and "Shibori," a traditional Japanese tie-dyeing technique, into the design process. Additionally, the on-court capsule is filled with special-edition sneakers, including the GEL-RESOLUTION™ X x A.P.C. and SOLUTION SPEED™ FF 3 x A.P.C. shoes.The off-court collection, meanwhile, is a 30-strong comfortwear manifesto. The buffed-up range features a bounty of ready-to-wear items led by A.P.C. designer Judith Touitou's penchant for "everyday movement," as well as special edition GEL-KAYANOTM 14 x A.P.C. sneakers.
