Best Giratina ex Pokémon TCG Pocket deck
All hail the new meta as Giratina ex dives into Pokémon TCG Pocket following the release of Shining Reverly and is causing absolute chaos in ranked mode due to its diversity to work in so many decks. It can't be understated how powerful Giratina ex is. Sure —it has a slow setup but when you combine it with a bunch of stall decks or mix it into other deck types, you have a deck that can be super powerful and annoy anyone on the opposing side—unless they are running a Dark-type deck. But why is it so powerful? And what deck should you run? Well, let's get into it and show you. Best Giratina ex deck list in Pokémon TCG Pocket Rise new meta. With the above deck, you can focus on using Dark-type Energy to build up your Giratina and Darkrai with energy and burn away as an opponent's active Pokémon while Druddigon tanks damage. It's all bout chipping your opponent down to get all the energy you need on your two Pokémon to then deal massive damage. You have a lot of control with the deck, but it can be painful if you don't pull the Pokémon you need to start setting up early. So its not flawless. The mirror match also comes down to who gets to go second and start to build up their Energy first, or who gets the luckiest card pulls. There are other variants of the Giratina deck too, such as using Mew ex, which takes out the Darkrai ex and Druddigon in favor of two Mew Ex and 2 Budding Expeditioner—as well as an Arceus ex variant that uses Shaymin and Arceus ex, on top of a few Dawns. Honestly there are so many ways to build the Giratina ex deck that you are spoilt for choice. The only downside is how hard it'll be for F2P players to make the deck. You need a bunch of exs from various different packs including all the trainer cards, though if you can find everything the deck is so simple to play, and so powerful, that you'll be climbing up ranked quite quickly. Just remember that despite its strengths, coming up against any Dark-type deck is a death sentence, and your Giratina ex does deal damage to itself after each attack. Not ideal if you accidentally kill yourself like I did one game forgetting that little snippet, costing you the game and your hefty ranked streak.
