Monitor light bars have undoubtedly increased my productivity while reducing eye strain. Quntis recently sent me their RGB Pro+ Monitor Light Bar for review, and I was interested because it offered some features not seen on my current bar. Quntis RGB Pro+ Monitor Light Bar — Size matters This is a 20” light bar, and the increased length is perfect for larger monitors. The weighted clip allows it to securely fit on normal or irregular monitor backs (flat, curved, stepped) as well as curved monitors and ultrawide monitors. Simply slide it on. I actually think it improves monitor aesthetics because it is sleek and compact. Quntis RGB Pro+ Monitor Light Bar — Let there be light The Quntis RGB Pro+ Light Bar casts an even spread of light in the immediate work area (~800lux), cascading down as it gets farther from the source. The angle of light is perfect because it illuminates downward at a 45-degree angle, so it’s helping your eyes with the monitor and work area instead of shining in your face. There is no screen glare and, importantly, no harmful blue light (RG0 no-blue risk level). The light features flicker-free technology and meets several IEC standards, so your eyes will thank you. There are four color temperature adjustments for the front monitor light, offering stepless adjustment between 3000, 4000, 5000, and 6500k. You can also dim the light from 33-100% brightness depending on your needs. Quntis RGB Pro+ Monitor Light Bar — Colorful backlighting Beside the front light, there is an RGB backlight that you can toggle on/off. There are 15 lighting modes, and you can select from monochrome, dual-color gradient, or multi-color gradient. Gamers will surely like the atmosphere it creates, but it’s also great for room mood lighting. Ra95 CRI lighting provides true color. I like to use with front and backlighting on because they are complementary and seem to minimize any glare caused by the vast contrast behind the monitor when only using the front light. Quntis RGB Pro+ Monitor Light Bar — Remote control While the light itself is powered via USB-C cable, the light comes with a puck-style remote control that you can keep on your desk. This allows you to operate multiple functions without having to touch the lamp bar, and is fun and easy to use.
