Best way to insulate?
Bought this house a few months ago and slowly fixing things over time. This is the exterior of my son’s bedroom. As you can see there is a slight overhang where the joists and floor boards under his room are exposed. His room also gets slightly colder than the rest of the house. I’d like to insulate that area to see if it solves the problem but am not sure what the best strategy is. Spray foam? Rock wool? Do I need a vapor barrier?
