Best Western Rewards Summer Promo: Earn Up To 20K Bonus Points

Best Western Rewards isn’t the most generous loyalty program out there, and for that matter, Best Western doesn’t have that many aspirational properties. However, the program does pretty consistently offer promotions. Best Western has just launched its summer promotion, and it has the potential to be quite rewarding.

Best Western Rewards’ summer 2025 promotion is now live, valid for stays between May 12 and September 1, 2025, at any Best Western branded property in the United States, Canada, or the Caribbean. With this promotion, you can receive 10,000 bonus points after you stay three nights. You can qualify for this bonus up to two times, for a total of up to 20,000 bonus points.

There are some more things to be aware of:

• Registration is required prior to your first eligible stay (though it’s fine if you booked before registering)
• This promotion is open to Best Western Rewards members regardless of where they live, though only stays in the United States, Canada, or the Caribbean, qualify
• Eligible stays include those booked directly with Best Western at non-special discounted rates
• The Best Western Rewards bonus points will be deposited within two weeks of an eligible stay
• Members are rewarded after staying three nights, no matter what combination of stays are made, whether it’s one stay of three nights, three stays of one night, etc.

How rewarding is this Best Western promotion?

Best Western Rewards ordinarily awards 10x points per dollar spent. Personally I value Best Western points at somewhere around 0.5 cents each, meaning you typically earn a 5% return on your Best Western spending. This doesn’t include the rewards you’d earn for credit card spending, plus any bonus rewards you’d earn if you have elite status with Best Western Rewards (and the program has a generous status match offer).

As far as this promotion goes, you can essentially earn 20,000 bonus points after staying six nights, which comes out an average of 3,333 bonus points per night. At a valuation of 0.5 cents per point, that’s like an incremental return of ~$17 per night. Of course this assumes that you stay exactly three or six nights.

On the redemption side, Best Western generally requires anywhere from 8,000 to 36,000 points per night for a free night redemption, depending on the property. You can also redeem 10,000 points for $50 off a future Best Western stay, using the Pay with Points feature, creating a floor value for points.

Bottom line

Best Western has launched its summer 2025 promotion. Members can earn 10,000 bonus points after staying three eligible nights, and can qualify for the promotion up to twice. Based on my valuation of Best Western Rewards points, this is like the equivalent of a ~$17 return per night, if staying exactly three or six nights during the promotion period.
