Can I reuse a 2 foot downrod for a ceiling fan?
Hi, my 25 year old ceiling fans have finally bit the dust so I bought some new modern fans. I didn’t buy two new down rods (2 feet) because I didn’t want to be wasteful. Before I hire an electrician to install the new fans, do I need to buy two new downrods? I obviously want to use new wiring etc, but can he take off this down rod, do what he needs to do and then reuse this down rod? Recycle it?
