Can someone recommend the appropriate concrete fastener for this job
I have a solid slab counter top on an outdoor kitchen. I found a pretty handy set of stainless steel hooks for hanging my utensils on. It's an 18 inch long plate with 8 hooks and 2 holes for mounting. Ive been using gorilla tape to fix it to the side of the countertop, which has been working fine. I have to rehang it about every 12 months of so. However, Im ready to commit and fix it permanently. the panel of hooks has 2 holes predrilled for #4 1 inch screws. Any recommendations on a fastener that works well with concrete, hopefully self tapping? Ideally, I would like the countertop to not crack...also Id like the hooks to stay mounted forever ;) submitted by /u/Educational_Mud_1008 [link] [comments]
