Can this window header be safely removed?
I’m replacing the insulation in my exterior walls and ran into this window header. It’s not sitting on a 2x4 so it’s not clean and I also want to put a piece of rigid insulation between the 2 header pieces. The wall is load-bearing I believe but this is a small section for a short time we’re speaking of. Is it good for removal or should I not bother? submitted by /u/DarkIntellect90 [link] [comments]
