Cat Proofing Velux Window
I have this velux window in my kitchen, and would like to open it up whenever I want. The problem, however, is that I have two indoor cats who would definitely try to get out. It's a bit tricky to cat proof this window with standard window nets or other online cat proofing solutions. Velux do sell an insect screen (https://www.veluxblindsdirect.co.uk/products/insect-screens) which would work if there was a beam running across the top of the sloping wall. I've thought about getting some loose net and stapling it to either side of the wooden frame, that would allow me to open the window slightly. It would hang loose when closed, which could be annoying if it's on the inside. Any other suggestions? Any help would be greatly appreciated! https://preview.redd.it/qlp14qk6537f1.jpg?width=8064&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=541f7160364231b8fef2a35ff1263e64d1224b61 submitted by /u/Immediate_Ad8636 [link] [comments]
