Daisy Edgar-Jones Channels '90s Gwyneth Paltrow in a Matching Green Schiaparelli Set
The actress stepped out in New York for the On Swift Horses special screening afterparty wearing a two-piece Schiaparelli set, leaving us green with envy.

Daisy Edgar-Jones stepped out in New York City Thursday night channeling an iconic '90s outfit, seemingly in reference to Gwyneth Paltrow.
Edgar-Jones wore a stunning forest green set by Schiaparelli after attending the special screening of the film Of Swift Horses earlier in the day. While the 26-year-old actor looked on-trend in her ready-to-wear Schiaparelli, something about her look evokes a similar vibe to none other than Paltrow in Great Expectations. Maybe it's because when Paltrow shot the film in 1998, she was around 26, or maybe it's the timelessness of a good matching set, but nevertheless, we can't help but compare the two.
She looked effortlessly put together in the knit set adorned with charm-like jewels, after stepping out earlier in the day wearing a more formal white Khaite gown and Boucheron jewels for the film's official screening. Of Swift Horses, which will be released on April 25, follows Edgar-Jones as Muriel, who is navigating life after the Korean War with her husband Lee, played by Will Poulter. Though, when Lee's younger brother Julius, played by modern-day heartthrob Jacob Elordi, arrives on the scene, the couple's path changes.
Earlier on in her career, Edgar-Jones made waves with her portrayal of Marianne in the on-screen rendition of the novel Normal People by Sally Rooney. She captured plenty of attention with her delivery, but also because of her palpable chemistry with co-star Paul Mescal. And turning back time to 1998, a young Paltrow was also turning up the heat on screen with her performance as Estella in Great Expectations, based on the novel by Charles Dickens. Paltrow starred alongside Ethan Hawke in the film, making for another heartbreaking on-screen romance. But despite a somber plot, one thing we will never be sad about is the stunning Donna Karan set from the Spring/Summer 1996 ready-to-wear collection that Paltrow wore.
Almost three decades later, there is something magical about a young starlet at the top of their game donning the most beautiful clothing with a glow of a promising future ahead. We have seen where Paltrow has gone with her career, and we can only wait with excitement to see where the road takes Daisy Edgar-Jones.
