Getting the best units in Anime Saga is the most important thing. However, even when you have the best units, with the best stats, there is one more thing you should aim for to give you an even bigger edge: Traits. Traits are passive effects each unit in your team can have, and they can really heat things up, especially during end-game. Anime Saga Trait Tier List

Traits can really push your characters to do even more damage and even get a few passive abilities. Unfortunately, just like the units and the stats, the Traits you get are completely random, and many of them have a <1% chance of rolling. These traits are a waste unless you use them on the best units.
SS-Tier
Trait Name | Rarity | Description | Info |
---|---|---|---|
![]() Doombringer | 0.1% | 50% Critical Hit Chance +1% Damage per enemy defeated When health is below 40%, do 60% more damage and take 40% less -25% Cooldown Time | This one is so powerful it's not even funny. Not only is 50% Crit out of this world, but your damage output keeps growing even more, especially if you let your HP drop. |
S-Tier
Trait Name | Rarity | Description | Info |
---|---|---|---|
![]() Overlord | 2% | For every enemy you kill gain 1% more Damage and restore 20% of your HP | The HP per kill is nice, but the real deal is the extra damage you'll end up doing the more trash mobs you destroy. The further you go, the more powerful you'll get. Ideal for Raids or Infinite runs. |
![]() Bloodlord | 0.6% | Lifesteals 1.5% od the damage you deal, Restore 10% HP per kill When below 30% HP, Lifesteal restores 4% damage, instead of 1.5% | An absolute necessity if you're playing solo. If you dodge attacks, and let Bloodlord do its work, you'll never be able to die. |
![]() Warlord | 0.3% | Every 10 seconds, you get a Super Armor for 3 seconds. The Super Armor reduces damage taken by 15%, gives you 25% more HP, Increases Damage output by 20%, and consumes -10% less SP. | Great, but only for those 3 seconds. The Super Armor can definitely help you out, but it's over before you know it, and waiting for it to recharge can be annoying. |
A-Tier
Trait Name | Rarity | Description | Info |
---|---|---|---|
![]() Abyssal | 0.8% | 20% more HP, 15% more damage, Heals 40% of your HP per kill, 10% extra Critical hit chance | A well-rounded trait that always comes in handy in almost any situation. Extra damage, heals on kills, and extra crit chance always come in handy. |
![]() Draconic | 3% | Do 15% more damage, and when you r HP falls below 30%, consume 40% less SP and increase your damage by another 10% | Extra damage always comes in handy, but if you let your HP fall a bit, you can dish out even more and use a lot less SP. |
B-Tier
Trait Name | Rarity | Description | Info |
---|---|---|---|
![]() Celestial | 1% | Heals nearby allies for 3% HP every 15 seconds, Reduces damage taken by 25% when HP falls below 30% | Only good if you're raiding and your party keeps taking damage, otherwise useless. It can come in handy during raids if you find yourself taking a lot of damage (then you just run around, until your HP is up) |
![]() Colossus | 1.5% | You get 20% more HP, take 15% less damage, and every 15 seconds you generate the same Super Shield (for 3 Seconds) like Warlord. | Really great protective trait, but the recharge timer for Super Shield is just too long. It's still really handy if you can time it right. |
![]() Phantom | 4% | 10% more Cricial Hit chance, Consume 20% less SP, and reduces cooldown by 12% | It's fine if you don't have anything better to use. The Critical Hit chance, in particular, can really increase your damage output. |
![]() Endurance III (and lower ranks) | 8% | 12% more HP, and 12% extra Damage | Extra damage = Good, Extra HP = Useful |
C-Tier
Trait Name | Rarity | Description | Info |
---|---|---|---|
![]() Guardian III (and lower ranks) | 8% | 12% less damage taken, and 15% more HP | Essentially, gives you a bit more survival. Okay, but nothing major. |
![]() Swift III (and lower ranks) | 8% | Reduces SP usage and cooldown by 9% | You get to use your abilities quicker, but it's hardly noticeable. You should probably reroll this one. |
That's all there is to it. Have fun rolling (and rerolling) Traits until you get some good ones. If you haven't already, check out our Anime Saga codes for some free crystals and currency.
