Do I need an AAV under sink?
I've been having sewer gas smells coming through my bathroom sink, it seems like it only happens when the water is running, and is amplified if the toilet has just been flushed. It makes me think the pressure difference from the toilet is draining the p-trap enough for gas to escape. I've read that this could occur if the roof vents are clogged as well, but haven't noticed any girgling in the sink that's associated with that problem. I'm wondering if installing an AAV is the right solution for this? Thanks! submitted by /u/Cautious_Parfait2695 [link] [comments]
