Neewer Q6 Studio Strobe: Professional results at an affordable price
As a studio photographer who works extensively with creative lighting and styled portraiture, I’m always on the lookout for lighting gear that’s reliable, consistent, and doesn’t break the bank. I recently got my hands on the Neewer Q6 600Ws Studio Strobe, and after several shoots, I’m thrilled to say this light has far exceeded my expectations. In fact, it’s earned a solid 5/5 from me! Please note that while Neewer sent this product to me for review, all thoughts are my own. Neewer Q6 600Ws Studio Strobe — First impressions The Q6 is sleek, well-built, and refreshingly compact for a strobe of this power. Right out of the box, it feels like a serious piece of kit—sturdy metal housing, intuitive controls, and a bright, crisp LED modelling lamp bright, that accurately previews your lighting setup beautifully. Whether you’re a seasoned studio photographer or someone transitioning from speedlights, this strobe is a fantastic addition to your lighting arsenal. Please note that I have only been using it on power so far for studio sessions, not battery. Pros Cons Being honest, the biggest con for me is I only have the one light and the one trigger. So if I want a multi-light setup, I can’t. I cannot use the Neewer trigger on my either gear and my other trigger won’t work with the Neewer light. SO I can use it on my own for a single light setup, but at this stage I cannot move beyond that.
