Edward Enninful Launches Next Media Venture: EE72

Former British Vogue editor-in-chief Edward Enninful has announced his new global media and entertainment company: EE72. Co-founded with his sister Akua Enninful, the project will draw on his vast expertise in the industry, such as his influential positions at i-D, Vogue, Vogue Italia, and W Magazine. As of yet, the exact details of the venture are still under wraps. According to the brand's Instagram, which debuted the project on Monday, the project "calls for authentic representation and storytelling that speaks to today’s interconnected world." In another post, EE72 states it will provide "boundary pushing content, immersive experiences and cutting-edge products that inspire" across partnerships, brands, and creators. "EE72 represents a natural progression of the foundation I've built my career on," explains Enninful in a statement. "We're creating a space where creativity transcends boundaries, where diverse voices don't just exist—they lead. Our mission is to reshape how we see and understand each other, building bridges across cultures and communities." Enninful previously left British Vogue in February 2024. His final cover featured more than 40 industry legends, including an array of the original supermodels Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Linda Evangelista, and Christy Turlington, a fitting tribute to his impact after nearly 7 years as editor-in-chief of the publication.In addition to EE72's launch, Enninful was also appointed to the host committee for the upcoming Met Gala, themed Superfine: Tailoring Black Style which will take place on May 5.
