Eres Brings Parisian Allure to Your Workouts—Discover The New Activewear Line

When it comes to swimwear, Eres has always been ahead of the curve. Timeless designs in premium compositions that hug the body while guaranteeing a sophisticated look, from poolside lounging to vacation wandering. True to its Parisian roots, the brand founded by Irène Leroux has prioritized design and quality since 1968, with a constant focus on women and the female form. Eres’ deep understanding of their customer’s wants and needs have led the maison to gradually expand to lingerie, beachwear, and even homeware. Now, the swim expert is ready for a new challenge: activewear—and we’re so here for it.

Launched just in time for the Spring/Summer 2025 season, Eres’ activewear collection marks a natural evolution for the French maison, bridging its legacy of refined swimwear and lingerie with the demands of modern movement. As it couldn’t be any other way, this collection reflects a continuation of Eres’ signature values. “From the very beginning, we knew exactly what we wanted to achieve: creating a wardrobe that combines technical performance and sophistication, while staying true to the understated elegance that defines Eres,” CEO Sophie Waintraub tells L'OFFICIEL over email. Designed to move with women through all aspects of life, the pieces blend performance and style with effortless grace, allowing the wearer to feel strong, beautiful, and completely herself.

Trying on these pieces, it's clear that the foundation of the collection lies in the material. Borrowed from Eres’ renowned swimwear, the premium composition throughout this new line offers a unique second-skin feel that’s both breathable and supportive. This thoughtful construction is more than fabric; it’s a philosophy. “At Eres, performance and design go hand in hand. The fabric we chose is a true innovation: it’s stretchy, breathable, and offers perfect support while feeling incredibly soft against the skin,” Waintraub confirmed. Crafted in Italy, this material is designed to hug the body but also follow its movement without restrictions. “This level of quality makes a real difference in terms of comfort and performance for everyday wear,” she adds.

Review: My Honest Thoughts on Eres Activewear

After putting it to the test myself, I can say that the luxurious composition isn’t the only feature that stands out in Eres’ new activewear collection. Just like in the brand's swim and lingerie categories, the awe-inspiring fabrics are matched by equally impressive designs. From asymmetrical necklines to elegant cut-outs and interlaced back details, each piece is meticulously designed to offer comfort and support while elevating your workout style.

“The clothing needs to perform, but it also needs to flatter, make the woman feel comfortable, beautiful, and strong,” Waintraub adds. According to her, “the technical comfort is inseparable from our attention to detail: subtle pleats, architectural cuts, contrasting seams and back design—everything is designed to enhance the body.”

Spanning around 30 pieces, the unquestionable stars of the collection are the leotards and jumpsuits. Inspired by dancewear, the eight unitard styles stand out not only for their second-skin softness and polished cuts, but also for their sculpturing silhouettes. Whether it’s the ankle-length Kathrine leotard (my personal favorite, available in black, nude, and a chic two-toned design) or the trikini-effect Bethany jumpsuit, I can vouch for its confidence-boosting power—I can’t recall ever feeling that cute while drenched in sweat. No matter the user’s wellness journey, Eres’ activewear styles are there to support and follow.

“We believe that every woman is free to thrive. Whether through fitness, yoga, or any other activity, every movement is hers and becomes an expression of her freedom and well-being,” Waintraub says.

While the collection’s athleisure focus is unquestionable, this new activewear line is also meant to accompany women through their multifaceted lifestyles. As the lines between activewear and everyday clothing keep blurring, Eres understands the need for a versatile and adaptable wardrobe. “Our pieces are designed to move with you, but they’re also meant to be layered, mixed, and worn throughout the day. From the ultra-fitted cardigans to pleated tops and fleece pieces, everything in the collection is made to transition seamlessly from the yoga studio to a relaxed moment at home, or even a casual outing in the city,” Waintraub says. Personally, I can already picture myself pairing my leotards with some oversized sunnies and a stylish tote while casually breezing through my Sunday errands.

My Final Thoughts on Eres Clothing

As we fantasize about the brand’s next expansion, it's safe to say this collection has already proven itself a hit. With its French-rooted elegance, subtle femininity, timeless color palette, and clean tailoring, this line beautifully reinforces the brand’s core identity and perfectly embodies their vision of the Eres woman.

“Each new collection reflects our vision of femininity—a femininity that is powerful, free, confident, and encourages her to live fully, in Eres,” confirms the CEO. As the brand continues to expand into different exciting categories, one thing remains constant: the unmistakable DNA of Eres, where beauty and functionality are never at odds.
