First fence I’ve ever built, any advice before I continue with the rest?
Hey guys, just showing the fence I built. Was wondering if there is anything to improve on before I continue with 50 more feet of it. I mean it’s a simple sturdy fence. I’m proud of it. Used 4x4 for the 2 post. 1 bag of quick setting concrete for each hole, then compacted dirt. 2x4s for the rails. Simpson 2x4 fence brackets secured with Simpson #9 1 1/2 hex drive. Pickets are 5/8” x 5 1/2” x 6’ and are secured with #8 1 5/8 deck screws. Anything I should do differently for the rest of the fence? submitted by /u/NoParkingPal [link] [comments]
