Gable end bracing blocking gable vent for fan. Can/should I remove?
I’m trying to install an exhaust fan to bring the temperature down in the attic so we can use it for light storage. We have 2 11x15 gable vents and 3 8 inch roof vents, but it’s getting up to 120+ at max heat in the summer (PNW dry heat 90+ degrees). We decided to install the fan on a gable because we don’t want to hire any roof work to install roof vent fans. Does this gable vent brace look removable?
