The best-of-the-best Super Smash Bros. pros are gearing up for Get On My Level: Forever, a Major taking place on July 4th – 6th in Toronto, Canada.
Get On My Level: Forever will feature stacked brackets for Super Smash Bros. Melee and Ultimate, as well as doubles and crew battles. Other fighting games are also at the massive event, including Tekken 8 and Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves.
Get On My Level: Forever Schedule and Format
The full schedule for Get On My Level has not been shared just yet, but the dates for each fighting game tournament are available.
Melee and Ultimate’s singles brackets will start on July 5th and the Top 8 and Grand Finals will be on July 6th.
Both Smash tournaments will feature a Group Stage with a double-elimination bracket, consisting of best-of-three matches. The Finals matches are best-of-five, featuring a reset if the player from the Losers side wins the first match. Before the first game, both players ban a tournament legal stage from the pool. The loser of the first game will choose the stage for the second game.
Melee and Ultimate both allow for modded controllers, although there have been some debates and discussions after Juan ‘Hungrybox’ DeBiedma recently had continued controller issues at CEO 2025, resulting in him throwing his controller after his victory.
Get On My Level: Forever Players to Watch
The Super Smash Bros. brackets at Get On My Level: Forever are beyond stacked. Melee has many top pros competing, including CEO champion Hungrybox, top-ranked player Zain Naghmi, best Fox player Cody Schwab, as well as Jake ‘Jmook’ Jirado, Kurtis ‘moky’ Pratt and the red Yoshi himself, Masaya ‘aMSa’ Chikamoto, all the way from Japan.
Get On My Level’s Melee tournament has the possibility of a very wild Top 8 with a wide range of unexpected Smash characters. Arjun ‘Junebug’ Rao continues to place in Top 24 and beat high-ranked pros with Donkey Kong, a heavy and slow fighter that is considered quite low tier.
aMSa could also reach the top with Yoshi, finishing second at Genesis X in 2024 and securing a first-place finish at LAC Rivals after beating Cody Schwab. Cody then beat aMSa at Tipped Off 16: Safari earlier this month, so the two will hopefully clash at Get On My Level in the Top 8.

Another fun storyline is the rivalry between Cody and Hungrybox, who had a dramatic and salty moment at Get On My Level in 2022. When Hungrybox beat Cody in the Grand Finals, he went to pop-off (per usual), but Cody decided to start jumping and screaming onstage to overshadow the Melee God’s celebration. The moment went viral, especially due to Cody almost passing out from the dramatics.
Ultimate is also promising to be a very entertaining tourney, with many top players in attendance. All eyes will be on Edgar ‘Sparg0’ Valdez, who recently won a Major with underdog character Piranha Plant.
Fellow Mexican pro Leonardo ‘MkLeo’ Perez as well as Americans Paris ‘Light’ Garcia, Michael ‘Riddles’ Kim and Salvatore ‘Zomba’ DeSena will likely go head-to-head with top Japanese players for a spot in the Top 8. This includes Genesis X2 winner Hurt, who is returning after a self-imposed ban after admitting to using delay mods to improve Nintendo Switch’s terrible netcode.
How to Watch Get On My Level: Forever
VGBootCamp will likely be streaming Get On My Level’s Smash tournaments on Twitch. The specific schedule for each tournament will be revealed ahead of the event so fans know when and where to tune in.
For those attending in person, GOML will be located at the Sheraton Toronto Hotel & Convention Centre in downtown Toronto. There will be three days of friendlies and vendors for Smash fans as well as the annual boat party with live music and karaoke on Sunday night.
